Due to growth, Calo is seeking a qualified individual to fill a Registered Nurse/LPN. This is a night position with full time-3 twelve hour shifts one week and ...4 twelve hour shifts the alternating week. There are also Part time, PRN, and Swing shifts available $2000 full time hiring bonus- $500 at 90 days, $500 at 6 months, and $1000 at one year anniversary. Calo is a nationally recognized residential treatment center focused on treating teens with developmental trauma and attachment disorder. Calo nurses assume a leadership role in health education, health promotion, health maintenance, medication management, nutrition services, medical safety, medical referral services, healthy environment and student/family involvement in individualized care. Requirements: Current Missouri license and registration (in good standing) as a RN Current BLS Healthcare Provider certification Minimum Skills: Excellent computer skills as related to specific software common to Calo Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to assess and document student illnesses or injuries Ability to prepare and dispense prescription medicines accurately Knowledge: Ability to assess student illnesses or injuries Demonstrate an understanding of medical issues regarding Teen and Preteen populations Demonstrate a knowledge of how to maintain an infection free environment in Teen and Preteen programs Demonstrate knowledge of appropriate documentation protocols regarding Teen and Preteen illnesses, injuries, medication errors Competitive Wages Must work minimum of 30 hours to qualify for: Paid Time Off Medical, Dental, Vision insurance Life Insurance Long Term Disability Coverage 401(k) plan and subsidized day care Please send resume.
