How are you doing? Can you believe it's already August? I had hoped that I'd be back to taking in-person appointments by now but, unfortunately, the COVID-19 circumstances in the St. Louis area have not changed enough to make that the safe choice. Cases are still trending upwards in the St. Louis area, so I just don't feel that it is safe or that I can provide a relaxing environment with all the precautions required. Close contact in a small room for a prolonged period of time is particularly high risk for both client and practitioner. I've found that the required masking and PPE to reduce transmission make it very d...ifficult to create a space that allows your nervous system to properly relax. Additionally, COVID-19 has the potential to cause blood clots in the body even in otherwise asymptomatic individuals which makes massage particularly risky. The good news is that I have created custom virtual sessions for you and they have been really popular! Each session is designed to help you feel better by combining guided self-massage, stretching, and relaxation techniques to increase body awareness and calm your nervous system.
