We're taking a couple of Fridays off, but we'll be back, again, every Friday in August! We'll be open from 10 a.m. - 2 p., so stop by if you're in the area and see what we're up to! Open dates: August 2nd, 9th, 16th, 23rd and the 30th! 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. each week. ... We'll also be previewing a few of our publications and offering them with a discount if you'd like to become a member ($10/year is our basic individual membership)! Here's a reminder to say that we'll be open tomorrow, Friday July 12th, from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. and welcome all visitors at the Welcome Center in Kingston! We're continuing to sort, organize and catalog our collections and materials at the Center, and doing more tidying up along the way. Feel free to stop in to see what's on hand and peruse our publications for sale!

A quick reminder that we'll be open, again, this coming Friday, June 28th from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.! We were delighted to see a couple of visitors on a rainy Friday last week, and hope to see more visitors this summer when we're working at our Welcome Center in Kingston. Stop by and say hello, see what we're up to, and peruse the Museum!

Traditionally we've had our Welcome Center open by appointment, and anyone is always free to call and set up a time to come in for a visit. This summer we're planning on adding a few days/hours when members will be at the Welcome Center in Kingston and would love to see any visitors that might come our way! We'll be cataloging and organizing our collections and doing a little tidying up, as well. If you're interested in stopping in to say hello, or will be in town and wou...ld like to look through our collections and publications for sale, please stop in! Friday, June 21st: 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. Friday, June 28th: 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. Friday, July 12th: 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.

The Annual Yard/Bake Sale for the Historical Society is coming up! Friday July 5th from 8 a.m. - 4 p.m. and Saturday July 6th from 8 a.m. to noon. We're still looking for additional donations, and are accepting them until the day of the sale. Accepting all kitchen, household, garden/tools, yard items, furniture and books! We're not ale to accept clothing, shoes or wearable items, but pretty much everything else can be donated. We're also accepting baked goods for the day of... the sale, as well! Call us at 660-255-4655 to arrange a drop off of donations, and we hope to see you there!
