This weekend our area will be experiencing a very frigid cold front. Here are a few tips to follow to avoid frozen pipes. 1. Keep garage doors closed if there are water supply lines in the garage. 2. Open kitchen and bathroom cabinet doors to allow warmer air to circulate around the plumbing. Be sure to move any harmful cleaners and household chemicals up out of the reach of children.... 3. When the weather is very cold outside, let the cold water drip from the faucet served by exposed pipes. Running water through the pipe - even at a trickle - helps prevent pipes from freezing. 4.0 Of course extra insulation always helps.

The District is currently experiencing an outage. We have isolated the problem and are making the necessary repairs now. As a precautionary measure we are issuing a Boil Order until further notice.

In Observance of Independence day, our office will be closed Wednesday, July 4th. We will reopen Thursday, July 5th at 8:00 am.

2017 Total Eclipse at Butler County Public Water Supply District #1

The District experienced a water main repair today that caused some customers in and around the Batson Mini Farms area to experience low pressure. Your water services should return to normal as the repair has been completed. Thank you for your patience during this time. There were a select few addresses that will be under a Boil Water Order and they have been notified.
