The IRS does not initiate contact with taxpayers by email to request personal or financial information. This includes electronic communications such as text messages and social media channels. A taxpayer can confirm the contact he or she received is from the IRS by calling 1-800-829-1040. A taxpayer should forward any bogus email claiming to be from the IRS to [email protected]. A taxpayer should not open attachments or click on any links found within the bogus email.

I have mailed out 150 letters but if for some reason you didn't get yours, here's the lastest news. Burkhart Accounting has moved. The new location is: 32005 Nottinham Forest Gravois Mills, Mo.
