We are looking for a part time employee to work at the office. This person must be able to pay attention to detail, have a working knowlegde of a computer keyboard, be able to multi-task, work independently while still workiong in a team environment and have good customer service. If you are interested in this position bring your resume in or come by the office and fill out an application. Only serious inquiries will be considered.

Our office is open however ALL State offices are closed today in observance of Juneteenth, there is no driver's testing today. The State's normal business will resume on Monday, June 21, 2021. The Highway Patrol will resume driver's testing on Monday in Hermitage. We appreciate your patience and have a good weekend!

The potential employee would need to have customer service experience, be familiar with computer keyboard typing and have the ability to pay attention to detail. We are open, we are still having lines that are needing to wait outside for social distancing requirements. We allow 6 customers in the office at any given time, if we have reached the limit of 6 customers in the office we ask that you please wait outside the office. If you have any questions on the driver's test site regarding the number of people allowed inside the testing site, masks required or not, etc. please check out the Missouri Highway Patrol website, the Highway ...Patrol are the test examiners and they are the ones that mandate how the test sites are controlled. Once you are at their website there is a link to the driver's examination sites and the information is listed along with the times and the locations for each and every test site in the State of Missouri. In light of Governor Parson's state wide stay at home order that goes into effect at 12:01 am Monday, April 6, 2020 and goes thru Friday, April 24, 2020 at 11:59 pm, the Buffalo License Office is closed. The Governor has extended all March and April motor vehicle and valid driver's license expiration dates by 60 days. Additionally, there is no title penalties on vehicles purchased during this time. Due to COVID 19 the State of Missouri is no longer doing ANY testing, written or driving at test sites, additionally our office will be closed from March 24, 2020 until April 6, 2020. We will reopen at 8:30 am assuming that the State does not require a mandatory closure that goes beyond this date. Please stay home and stay safe and healthy!
The License Office was just informed that the local drivers test site, at the Disabled American Veterans building is closed. The only area test site that is currently testing is downtown Springfield at 149 Park Central Square. This pertains to ALL satellite offices for drivers testing
The Missouri State Highway Patrol has announced effective immediately and until March 31, 2020 there will be no road testing done at any test site.
