Today is the last day the Marina and Restaurant will be open for this 2020 season . The Lodge, Cabins and RV Park will remain open through November 30th. Rick and I and all of the Bucksaw Staff want to say a HUGE Thank you to all of our amazing customers. This shout out is to both our Seasoned customers who are here year after year supporting us, AND also to the Newbies who 2020 was their first year to visit Bucksaw! September 27, 2020 Fishing Report It's been a beautiful Fall start and Crappie fishing has been decent this week. Catfishing continues to be very good. Dry spell continues and the lake is low (704.25' on Sep 27), still muddier than we would like near the Marina. Crappie - The fish are scattered but they're biting. Fish the flats and catch fish in 4 feet of water up to 20 feet of water, minnows working best.... Bass - Fish the main lake flats using buzzbaits early and switch to squarebills or spinnerbaits as the sun rises to heat the day. White Bass - Fish wind blown points and humps using crankbaits. Catfish - Fish the flats in 6 to 12 feet of water using cut shad. To book a guide trip call 660-477-3900

Crappie-The fishing was pretty good up until the lake came up and got muddy. Still catching some on the main lake flats fishing in 8 to 18 feet of water fishing 8 to 12 feet deep using a Jelifish Usa crappie bomb tipped with a minnow. Bass-Fish points and flats using a buzz bait early and switch to a squarebill after the sun gets up. White Bass-fish points and humps using crankbaits and spoons....
