Day 17 of 25 days of declutter/organization. I organized Es room. I am trying to keep a small amount of toys in her room. Based on research I know children play longer and use more creativity when there are fewer toys and they don’t feel overwhelmed. With that being said I also struggle with getting rid of toys that family and friends have spent time and money in purchasing. So while today only involved a small amount of toys, I still found it difficult. My goal in Es room wa...s to make it where she could easily find and put away toys. I don’t have an elaborate organization strategy but I also don’t have one huge tub where all toys vanish. I decided to put one toy in each cubby and made baby dolls the main focus. All baby doll accessories are in one small box and she has the larger baby items: crib, chair, and box of babies. Day 16 of 25 days of declutter/organization. Kids closet took me about 30 minutes to do. I took out the items for donation and added them to the donate pile in the garage. I organized clothes by sleeve length and straightened up the other items. The only toys stored in the closet are the stuffed animals. Day 15 of 25 days of declutter/organization. Freezer day. Before picture is first. I organized based on category: Meat, fruit, vegetables, etc. I took out boxes and left individually wrapped items to make more space. Day 14 of 25 days of declutter/organization. Back in the kitchen doing our spice cabinet. I took everything out and organized alphabetically so I can finally find things. I currently have 4 chili powders I’m excited to be able to find all my ingredients quickly which is very important when attempting to cook with two small children.
