Gotta just keep trying!

Here is the reason we do want we do. The reason for the late nights in the lambing barn, the reason tears are shed every time we loose a lamb, and the reason we put so much effort into these animals. To us they are not just lambs they are family most of them have been at our farm since birth and we spent many hours helping them to the point they are at. These animals have helped teach us many things from love, patience , responsibility, dedication to how to say good bye. We wouldn't trade it for the world. Here is to next year and the next set show lambs to be born and the best sheep herds man around Addalea!

Now that our first round of ultrasounding is done we are SO excited to announce some exciting pregnancies due to lamb the start of January! We will have lambs from our AI breedings to Unicorn and Gorilla. Natural breedings to our "County Fair" rams, our Chedder x Little D ram, and Gunsmoke x Gas Monkey ram! Who are you guys most excited to see the babies out of?

Ultrasound day tomorrow!!! Hopefully leading to some pretty exiting lambs coming this year stay tuned!!

So... I may have a slight problem and have a few more sheep then we probably should get rid of a few. Because of this we are going to let go of a few of our favorite proven ewes! So if you want a couple girls that give us some great lambs let us know! Jessica

The Bossy little barn manger decided she would help chore tonight

Well the 2020 show year is officially over. For the first year really being out we are pretty pleased with how the year went! This girl has worked so hard along with all exhibitors with there lambs throughout the unknown. Huge shout out to the Thompson Show Stock team for all the help through out this year! Now it’s time to prepare for the next years Lamb crop and the new genetics coming to the farm!

It’s finally State Fair week!! Let the good days begin! Good luck to everyone and remember having fun and doing something your passionate about is all what matters!
