Broken Chains

God wants you to know that today you should take a vacation from worries. Take this moment to conjure up a fond memory. A time in your life when you were content and happy. Dwell on that moment for a while, let those feelings of contentment permeate your soul. Today is a good day to be content, so take a vacation from your worries.

God wants you to know that what we need is to love without effort. Do not think that love, in order to be genuine, has to be extraordinary. Real love is simple, everyday kind of thing. A smile, a hug, an encouragement. Continuous love without effort.

God wants you to know that beginnings are only possible where there are endings. Clear acknowledged endings are as necessary to intelligible life, as pauses between notes to intelligible music. Although endings sometimes feel like the end of you, take them for what they really are, - the end of a stage in your life. Here is to new beginnings!

God wants you to know that it's time to STOP going through the motions of living, and START living. Are you willing to do that now? Or are you going to wait until all life energy drains out of you and your loved ones who are trying to support you at this very moment? You were not born to follow rules and regulations. Living starts with dreaming. So dream, dream friend, and let dreams show you the path to your bliss.

God wants you to know that you need to maintain a balance between your needs and others' needs. Yes, it's not an easy balance to keep, but try you must. Give too much, drain yourself, and there is nothing left only bitter space. Give too little, become a cork, and you block the flow of God's love through you. Keep on balancing.

God wants you to know that you are connected to all living things. You may think you are separate and all alone, but the truth is there is so much interconnection. When you feel alone, allow time for connection and communion. If there are no people around for good company, then be with nature: a dog or cat or tree or ocean. Good company comes in many forms.

God wants you to know that you attract not what you want, but who you are. If you want to change something in your life, focus on the inner, and God will take care of the outer.

God wants you to know that you become what you do. Life molds itself into the shape of your actions, - do something long enough and you become it. Fighting for peace makes more war. Loving for peace makes more peace.

God wants you to know that some struggle is inevitable. No one is promised a life which is free from pain, sorrow or grief. It does not mean that anyone walks through these things alone. Have faith and know that all suffering is temporary.
