The Bridge St. Louis

Thank you to everyone who assisted and participated in the Service Registration Fair!! There were 17 agencies that came to our location yesterday to provide services to the 90 men and women that showed up! Here are some details: 208 total services transactions: 51 personal care items given out (hygiene kits, socks, underwear)... 6 people assisted with ID recovery services 18 people engaged with legal services 40 people received health services 92 people connected with housing or other social services (shelter, veteran services, life skills and employment) We could not have connected our population to these services without the help of our amazing partners!

From 2006 to March 2016, we proudly served 1,178,549 meals and clocked over 250,000 volunteer hours. <3 We could not have done this without you. #StLouisStrong

Pam Smith from Department of Human Services. Helps link people to birth certificates and state IDs. State identification allows individuals to prove their identity so they may receive healthcare, food stamps, housing and jobs. Without state identification it is incredibly difficult for individuals to move beyond homelessness. Additionally, there is an intangible benefit to this service--the provision of humanity and goodness provided by recognizing those experiencing homelessness as people with names and histories. Thank you Pam for all you do! We appreciate your work and how you have helped to shape the futures of our guests in impactful ways!

Hey everyone! In the next few weeks, we will be taking the time to shout out to some of our incredible partners. This week will start with Affinia Healthcare, which has a staff that truly moves mountains for our guests. Whenever a guest has a need outside the scope of their mission, but is related to increasing the guest's well-being, Affinia staff always manage to get it done.
