45% of all child deaths are caused from poor nutrition, according to the Global Nutrition Report. It’s so easy for us to forget about how fortunate we are to have access to nutritious food or even food in general. Poverty and malnutrition is closer than you think. I want to encourage you to donate to your local food drive all year long.

If you’re anything like me, you have more clothes than you know what to do with. My dirty secret? I only wear about half of them or less! This time of year, is as good as any to donate to a clothing drive. Share your unworn clothes to a donation center that will clothe someone in need. You’ll feel good about it, I promise.

One of my favorite charitable causes is Operation Shoebox! Over one million shoe boxes are delivered to our troops at home and worldwide. There are so many ways to help whether it be by adopting a troop, donating candy, making care packages and much more.
