Look what we just received! How cool is this? The Trust appreciates the recognition and will keep working on helping our communities.
Have we got a deal for you! Boone Electric is building a new headquarters and will temporarily relocate our offices to 1905 W. Ash Street (the old Shelter Ins. Claims building). We have a lot of desks, side chairs, credenzas, bookcases, lockers, tables, etc. that need new homes. Office desk chairs will be staying with employees. A sample of items is attached. You must be able to dismantle and haul the items you want. First claimed, first served. No holds. Items will be... available between December 14 January 1 (depends on where it is located and which employee is sitting behind it). There are way too many items to include photos and measurements of, so an appointment to look at items needs to be scheduled. Our lobby is closed to outside traffic at this time. If applicable, a tax donation letter will need to be sent to BEC once items are donated. Please feel free to share this post with other nonprofits and/or public entities. Schools: Please share with all buildings. If you are interested in your organization receiving these, please call Rhonda at 573-441-7289 (direct line) or 573-449-4181. Phone calls only please.
Making a Difference Monday. Celebrating one of our communities....Hallsville! The Trust has funded projects in Hallsville including the public school, Twister Hockey League, and Hallsville Historical Society. The Trust funded $10,000 in 2014 for concrete work associated with the construction of the building where the Historical Society makes its home.
The Cooperative is cleaning out the basement and we found two really nice overhead transparency projectors. One is in a really nice travel case. Any nonprofits out there that could use them? Free. Call Rhonda at 573-441-7289. (photo for clarification)
The Trust met yesterday and reviewed applications for funding. Congratulations to the following organizations for receiving partial to full funding. Day Dreams Foundation, Missouri River Relief, Lutheran Family and Children's Services of Missouri Nora Stewart Early Learning Center, Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC), Cedar Creek Therapeutic Riding Center, Rainbow House and Columbia, MO Fire Department. The next deadline for funding from the Trust is on December 1, 2020 by 5 p.m.
