BIG NEWS: City Market Location Relocating and Bo Lings at KCI Bo Lings at the City Market is Moving! Just a few spaces to the east on 5th Street, you will soon see a new concept featuring Bo Ling's delicious cuisine, top-quality ingredients and a menu designed for quicker service.... While our current City Market location will close on October 31, 2021 we are already working on the new location for a spring 2022 opening. In the meantime, please dine with us at our Plaza, Zona Rosa and three Johnson County locations, or order online at bolings.com. We are also proud to be part of a group of local restaurants opening in the new KCI airport in 2023 so we look forward to sharing the new experience with you as well! It's Friday so that means we are busy getting ready for WEEKEND DIM SUM! During the week we serve three items - Shrimp Toast, Siu Mai and Steamed BBQ Pork Buns, at all locations and almost 20 items every day at this location. Dim Sum comes alive on the weekend when the number of offerings practically quadruples and is available Sat & Sun 11am - 2:30pm here and at Bo Lings 91st and Metcalf. Check out some of our favs!

Look what's in season at The City Market - Kansas City! Chef Richard picked up fresh daikon to make the Pan-Fried Turnip Cakes we offer at weekend Dim Sum. Starting with super-fresh ingredients (from KC to boot) makes a huge difference in quality. A must Dim Sum try! Available here and at Bo Lings 91st and Metcalf Sat & Sun from 11am - 2:30pm.

We make THOUSANDS of these Steamed BBQ Pork Buns (Char Siu Bao) for weekend Dim Sum HERE and Bo Lings 91st and Metcalf. They are one of the favorites on the weekends BUT great news: they are available at all of our locations every day! Weekend Dim Sum runs from 11:00am - 2:30pm for dine-in or carryout (only here and at 91st & Metcalf). If you haven't tried this delicacy, it's about time you did!

It feels like an eternity since last October when the Bo Lings founding couple, Theresa and Richard Ng, and their children met with Francis Lam during The Splendid Table's taping of interviews with several other local restaurateurs. This weekly NPR program, hosted by award-winning food writer, Francis Lam, focuses on the fascinating aspects of today's food world. The lively interview with Theresa, Rebecca and Raymond will be featured during a segment on Chinese food in Americ...a, available online and on podcast starting this Friday, October 16. The KCUR 89.3 program will air on Sunday, October 18 from 2pm - 3pm. We can't wait to hear the interview and hope that you will tune in too!

Dine-In Dim Sum is back! Our full Dim Sum menu is available Saturday and Sunday from 11am to 2:30pm at this location as well as Bo Lings 91st and Metcalf. For COVID safety, we have modified our service from pushcarts to disposable menus and servers taking your order OR it is available for carryout if you want to enjoy it at home.
