Dr. King is the first African American honored with a memorial on or near the National Mall and only the fourth non-President to be memorialized in such a way. I visited this in 2011, it’s impressive and certainly forces you reflect on the words of Dr. King. I highly recommend the tour of his childhood home in Atlanta as well. ~ Eric
