January Theme: M A N I F E S T As we move into a new year, we feel that now is a wonderful time to focus our messaging on ways to set intention and support you in manifesting the things you want to see more of in your life. We can bring intention into what we want to see not by focusing on what we lack, but rather by infusing what we do with love, practicing non-judgement, and by generating compassion as we move through a path paved with intention. Through yoga we can le...arn how to let go of old patterns and ways of being that no longer serve us and invite more of what we want to welcome in to our lives. Yoga offers us such an amazing set of tools that can help us come to know ourselves and get in touch with what our hearts truly long for. What are some things you would like to manifest moving into this new year? #manifestyourdreams #manifestthroughmovement #yogapractice #yogainspiration #yogalove #yogalife #selfcare #intentionalliving #intentionsetting #yogainspiration #yogastudio #stlyoga #meditationpractice

A Word From Annie, Owner of Blue Sky Yoga Whoa...what a year it’s been! As we make our way through the last days of 2020 may we take time to reflect on what has kept us together and helped us get through this year. In so many ways, this year pushed me to get creative, courageous, and carry on.... and it could not have happened without each and every one of you. So many of you reached out and reminded me of what the practice is truly about.... From the bottom of my heart, I am sending so much gratitude for your support, encouragement, and patience with Blue Sky Yoga as we constantly adapt to the ever-changing world that we exist in. This practice continues to save me, again and again, each time I step on my mat and practice tuning into patience, trust, and the internal self. Through this practice I am better able to navigate the waves of life with balance, courage, and peace.... one breath at a time. As we move into 2021, please let self-care of your internal self be on the top of your list. This often is overlooked, as we live in a culture that is all too often concerned with the external self. The harmony that we can create is so profound when we learn to listen to and nourish the deeper sides of ourselves, so please pay attention and be true to yourself. By doing this, you are playing a part in creating an impact larger than you know and inspiring others to do the same." -Annie Trachsel #manifestingabundance #newyearyoga #stlwellness #stlyoga #stlyogi #yogainspiration #yogastudioowner #yogastudiolove

With the New Moon comes a time of cleansing, clearing, and renewal. It is a time to set aside the old and bring in the new. It is a time for planting our seeds of intention for the next lunar cycle and harnessing the growth of the moon to aide in manifesting those seeds to bloom and flourish. This is a perfect opportunity to reset and find your balance to move forward with clarity and intention. Taking place in-studio only, this event will incorporate meditation, relaxation,... and a healing gong bath. The powerful vibrations of the gong will cleanse the subconscious and leave you feeling lightened and enlightened. Space is limited as we have decreased capacity for everyone’s health and safety. Registration is required. #newmoonintentions #newmoonyoga #soundhealing #gongbath #stlyoga #stlbusiness #yogainspiration

As we move into December, how are you finding balance? At times finding balance can be difficult, particularly when we face challenges that come from so many directions. We can find balance in our life by practicing mindfulness and self-awareness. As simple as this is, the first step of finding balance is recognizing when something is throwing us off balance. This isn’t always so easy, though. It takes practice. We can do this by regularly checking in with our body, our breat...h, and our mental and emotional states. When we take time to listen, our body and emotions tell us what we need to know. It sounds simple, but taking conscious daily moments to pause and check in with yourself is so important. The more we do this, the better we will be able to move forward and determine the best course of action from a mindful place. What are some of the ways you check in with yourself? How do you recognize when something is throwing you off balance in life?

Find your peace. If you need some simplicity and beauty in your life, now could be the right to get outside and take advantage of the calming effects of nature. Even if it’s just for a few moments. With everything going on in the world and the anxiety and overwhelm that we may be facing, we have this amazing tool that can help us take a step back and find our grounding. What an incredibly humbling experience to immerse yourself in the changes that take place right in your own backyard, to step away from the crowded thoughts we may be experiencing this time of year and step into the open air. The simple act of noticing what happens when you put down the screen for a moment and step outside truly is a powerful thing We’ve got a lot happening right now, let nature help.
