Yesterday, December 22nd, one of our lovely stylists here at Blondie's tragically lost her brother Paul Clark. Paul has two sons, ages 13 and 15, who live with him as well as their grandma. This year has been especially hard on these boys, with their grandma currently in the hospital with Covid-19 and the recent passing of their father just a few days before Christmas they are left wondering what the holidays will look like for them this year. We are taking donations in hopes that we can come together as a community and help this family provide a Christmas for these boys. Any amount is welcome and your help is greatly appreciated. If you must put your hair up here a few things t...o remember: Use METAL FREE elastic bands. Try a scrunchie NEVER put your hair up or use pins when hair is WET as it is weaker when wet. Happy Friday! Here is a reminder to avoid at home hair coloring We all know NOT to use box dye right? What about the brands Splat or Overtone? Those are a NO GO as well. When using non-professional products you are always going to be compromising the integrity of your hair. These products are SO DIFFICULT for stylist to remove from your hair and will never fully come out on their own no matter what they say. Stick to the salon people because its easier (and cheaper) to achieve your goal from the start rather than you coming to us later for a color correction! Enjoy the weekend!

Here at Blondie’s Salon we take your health and wellness (as well as our own) very seriously! We thought we would take the time to share our covid protocol to all of our clients who have not yet visited our salon since Covid hit. To all who have, this is just a review! 1. Masks! We require our staff and also our patrons to wear masks. Non negotiable. It’s mandated by the heath department. Don’t want to wear a mask? No prob. We will see you when the mandate is lifted and t...he world is normal again! (Pleeeease let that be soon!!) 2. Limiting Exposure... for you and us! Our waiting room is closed. Please call our salon number when you arrive. The receptionist will instruct you from there. Please only bring yourself to the appointment. We love alll your kids and your friends but unfortunately it’s just not safe (for all of us) to have extra bodies in the salon right now. When a child has a haircut, 1 person is allowed to accompany. We’re not monsters, y’all. 3. Sanitation. This is not new to us. We spend a LOT of time in cosmetology school learning (and learning and learning...) the importance of sanitation. When covid hit, we were ready! Here is our run down: All surfaces in the salon are cleaned multiple times throughout the day. Every towel, cape, comb etc is sanitized.
