David, 'The Venus Fly Trap', wanted to attend ONE MORE Market day this Halloween Saturday!! We will have some spooky plant specials that will include... Sinister Succulents (Buy 3, get 1 free) Witches Brew, Blood Red Phals... Cob Web's, Killer Cactus, Monster Moth Orchids, Black Widow Jewels, and more freaks! Come by our haunted booth this Saturday from 7-2pm!!

Kahlua & Bamboo really wanted to help with mixing our homemade orchid bark media!! They are so cute together!! Saturday will mostly likely be our Final day at the City Market! We will be having some good plant specials as well. Message us for any plant requests or pre-orders as this may be your last chance to link up with us this Season! ... We will not be attending the market on Sunday!

Orchids & Updates This weekend we will be selling at City Market both Saturday & Sunday! We will be featuring Cascading Double White Phals, budded Lady Slipper's, and Catasetum Orchids. The weather looks beautiful, so come on over! We WILL NOT be at the City Market next weekend (Oct. 17th & 18th) as the Bird Family will be attending a funeral. ... The following weekend after that will be TBD, as it all depends on the weather. Happy Friday!

These Award Winning Orchids that have been named after Family members and Friends are blooming beautifully right now!! They have had a rough road these past couple years after being the first to escape the cave when the smoke came in. Since then they have been repotted multiple times and given lots of water, sunshine and fertilizer!! We are thrilled to see them thriving again!!

We are CRAZY for Catasetums! These *Miniature* plants provide spectacular blooms, have a nice fragrance, and are fairly easy to grow!! They are just Magnificent!! Every Saturday at the River Market we will be featuring 3 different varieties that we will have available for sale! Starting today!!!

Happy Fall Y'all Its time to be 'chilling' your Phalaenopsis In order to get flowers, you must provide the plant with cool nights and warm days. So leaving it outside, cracking your window open, or placing it somewhere to get a 15-20 degree change in temperature from night to day will trigger a flower spike! Do this chilling process for 3-4 weeks and you should have flowers by Valentines day!

Plant of the Day Ficus Altissima 'Golden Gem' This beautiful, easy to grow, plant is a must have in your collection!! We have them for sale TODAY at CITY MARKET in a 6" pot! We found a huge one at Family Tree Nursery this week and had to take a photo!!

Also, we will not be attending the Overland Park Farmers Market this weekend as all the plants are traveling to City Market!!
