Skeptics Reading the Bible as Story 21.10.2021

I'm starting to understand the reason for different approaches to different audiences--including audience size, viewers online vs. In person, debates vs conversation. If there is an audience that wants to hear what you have to say, perhaps it be would good to engage them and give them what they want. It works for pastors and comedians. When speaking with people who don't want to hear what you have to say, perhaps a different approach is necessary.... Happy New Year! We start the new Year out Tuesdays from 6-8 in the StoryTime Room. We will begin Proverbs chapter 15. ... If you have been wondering what it would be like to discuss denominational differences with others who disagree with you, this is a good place to do it. If you have never read the Bible, this is a non-threatening non-Christian, non-denominational way to read and understand some popular ancient literature, whose stories have been passed down for thousands of years. If you want to get better at having really hard conversations with complete strangers in a cordial, friendly, environment, this is a good place to do it.
