Bowling Green Bobcat Band

The Bowling Green band competed in the 2nd Annual Mark Twain Invitational in Center, MO. Here are the results Indoor Drumline, 3rd Place Indoor Colorguard, 1st Place! Field Competition, 3rd Place... The band members worked hard and improved. Thank you to many parents who helped the day go smoothly! Our next event will be Hannibal Band Day on Tuesday Oct. 12th

The Bowling Green band competed at the marching festival today at Wright City. They all worked hard and the results are as follows Parade 2nd in the division, with taking best in the class with visual.... Indoor Colorguard 1st place in the division! Indoor Drumline 2nd in the division Field Show 2nd in the division, with best percussion in the division. Next week we will be at the Mark Twain competition in Center. Go Bobcats!

Congratulations to the Bowling Green Bobcat Band! They performed very well at the Wright City Marching Festival. This is the breakdown of our placements: Indoor Color Guard: 3rd Indoor Percussion: 3rd Field Show: 2nd... Parade: 1st Outstanding Color Guard Caption Award Outstanding Percussion Caption Award Outstanding Visual Caption Award Outstanding Music Caption Award Once again, the kids did a fantastic job adapting to an interesting start to the day and making the best of the circumstances with the new procedures we have to follow at the festival competition and with our school. We were playing up to our competitors in some of the classes and did extremely well. I'm so glad we are able to at least compete this season in some capacity. Enjoy this moment because come Tuesday, it's back to the grind. Thanks again to the Music Boosters and our Band Parents! Thanks for getting the delicious food prepared for us once we returned from the competition. This day particularly was a group effort just to make sure we could even get there.

This is the Itinerary for Wright City tomorrow. Load bus at 7:55 am. Wear your Band shirt and Jeans and Marching Shoes. Bring your own water bottle.

Just a reminder that Bowling Greens Full Band Camp will be next week July 20-24 from 8-4. All Color Guard and Band Members should plan to attend. Letters have been mailed out. Refer to the letter if you have any questions. I would also like to send out a reminder that alumni are not allowed at band camp this year. I'm sorry. I love seeing all of the alumni during band camp. This is to help ensure the safety of the students and staff. Lunch will be provided. Parents may expect... to be contacted to help serve and package up the lunches for that week. If you are able, please help if you can. You can message me if you are able to help and I will get your contact info to the music boosters who are providing all of the meals for the week. We've had a very productive 3 weeks of camps throughout the summer so far. Hopefully we can continue that trend and have a safe, rewarding, and productive camp. Students should plan to bring sunscreen, their own water bottle, and comfortable shoes. Let me know if you have any questions! See more
