Your Berkeley Fire Department’s ambulance 3617 is coming home! Today Fire Chief Linhardt, Captain Hurtado, and Firefighter/Paramedic Morris traveled to Osage Ambulances in Linn, Missouri for the final inspection of 3617. For the first time in the 84 year history of the City of Berkeley an Advanced Life Support Ambulance will be fully staffed and operated by Berkeley Fire Department personnel.... We are extremely proud of this accomplishment! We would like to once again send out a huge thank you to Osage Ambulances for their hard work in constructing this beautiful ambulance! We would also like to thank our Berkeley residents for approving Prop A and making this all possible! We are Berkeley proud!

This week your Berkeley Fire Department responded to a total of 61 alarms including: 37 emergency medical calls 14 motor vehicle accidents 10 fire related calls.... We are Berkeley proud!

Winter weather and freezing temperatures are once again expected in the St. Louis area starting this afternoon into Sunday morning. Please be careful on roadways as icy road conditions are expected. Stay safe and warm!
