Your Berkeley Fire Department’s ambulance 3617 is coming home! Today Fire Chief Linhardt, Captain Hurtado, and Firefighter/Paramedic Morris traveled to Osage Ambulances in Linn, Missouri for the final inspection of 3617. For the first time in the 84 year history of the City of Berkeley an Advanced Life Support Ambulance will be fully staffed and operated by Berkeley Fire Department personnel.... We are extremely proud of this accomplishment! We would like to once again send out a huge thank you to Osage Ambulances for their hard work in constructing this beautiful ambulance! We would also like to thank our Berkeley residents for approving Prop A and making this all possible! We are Berkeley proud!

We want to talk about the most used kitchen appliance in your home, your microwave. The microwave is easy to use but always supervise children that are using the microwave. Make sure that your microwave is connected directly to the wall outlet and no extension cord or power strip. Use caution when removing items as steam maybe present and dishes will be hot. #firefactfriday #firepreventionmonth
