But even this intrepid financial services professional was daunted when the pandemic hit right as she was preparing to fulfill her dream of homeownership. Ms. Dethrow also worked with her Housing Resource Coordinator to line up a grant from the St. Louis Economic Development Partnership and to secure funds from the Emergency Matched Savings Program to assist with lost income.
