Better Bevo Now Neighborhood Association 04.11.2021

UPDATE: MEETINGS HAVE RESUMED. We returned to regular monthly meetings June 17. Our next meeting is on July 15th at 6:30 pm The election meeting will be held on August 19, 2021... The 2021 BBN Board of Directors Election will be postponed until it is safe for the general membership to meet in person. As we all know Covid-19 has presented many unique challenges this year. Since March of this year, we have been forced to cancel all BBN meetings and events to comply with CDC guidelines and Stl. City orders. Currently it is unknown when in person meetings can safely resume. The BBN Bylaws require elections at the General Meeting each January. We never considered Covid-19 when writing the Bylaws. Through electronic communication the BBN Board of Directors has decided that we shall move forward as follows. The January 2021 Election is postponed until it is deemed safe to resume in person gathering of 100 or more people . At that time we will open up the nomination process at the first meeting. Anyone wanting to run will be able to speak at the 2nd and 3rd meeting. Voting will take place at the 3rd meeting and all winners will be announced at that meeting and on the BBN page. On behalf of the Board, I want to say that we miss you and we look forward to gathering as a strong vibrant community once again. David Tallent President Better Bevo Now
