Great information to think about when getting tested for COVID-19

IN OUR REGION THIS WILL BE AT RALLS COUNTY OR HANNIBAL The State of Missouri is offering free COVID-19 testing in 8 counties from September 14-23. The only requirement is being a resident of Missouri, you do not have to live in the county testing is completed in. These tests are free to the public. They will be self-administered nasal swabs (PCR testing) that will tell if you have an active infection at the time of the test. In our region, testing will be completed in Ralls County at the Arch Methodist Church at 56017 Ocean Wave Lane in Hannibal on September 16 from 10 am-7 pm. You must register ahead of time for this event. To register and view other testing sites, go to www.health.mo.gov/communitytest or call 877-435-8411.

The National Guard will be performing free COVID-19 testing at the Macon County Fairgrounds on Monday, July 20, 2020 from 7am-3pm. Due to the COVID 19 pandemic we are also trying to adjust as we go to ensure the safest care possible for our patients. We are implementing telehealth as we go also. This means virtual visits and telephone visits when possible for our patients. Please note that this is also being changed on a daily basis with insurance companies. Therefore, you need to research your insurance company to know if this is covered appropriately. Also please note we are a small clinic with min...imal staff. Therefore, I will get to phone calls and text messages when I can but there are a lot coming in daily. Please call the office if you wish to have a virtual visit and we will schedule appropriately.
