Check out Rayna's ears! You can't have a bad day when Rayna is in your life! She likes everyone and everything. Rayna is about 2 yrs. old and she is a shepherd/...pit bull mix, the best we can tell. She was abandoned by her family. They moved off and left her. She is the best dog! So sweet and well-behaved. Rayna loves to roll over and give you her belly to rub! She loves to go on walks, hikes and is a great running partner also. She is in a playgroup with several dogs and does just fine! She will play fetch for ever. Rayna is spayed, vaccinated, de-wormed, crate-trained and ready to come home with you! She could sure use a foster home or better yet, an adoptive home! Please NO CATS.

Reiki for Animals I haven’t posted in a while but today I’d like to share a story with you about how Reiki works for animals. I am an animal lover and my heart goes out to dogs that are neglected and abused. About 6 weeks ago I adopted a 2 year old Lab/Shepherd mix named Gunner. When I first saw him, I just knew that he belongs to us. From what we knew about his history is that he was tied up all his life in a filthy backyard and nearly starved to death. I am so thankful for ...the people at Chain of Hope who rescued him. When he finally came into our family he was starved for attention, underweight and scared. He had a minor food aggression from not knowing where his next meal will come from and on top of that an untreated skin condition. My heart was breaking and I poured all my love, attention and daily Reiki sessions on him. After several vet visits, regular meals, and all the snacks he wants, he is now is great physical condition. I continue the Reiki session for him to heal his fears and anxieties and in the last few weeks he started to become a happy and relaxed being, every day this loved dog grows more into the dog he is meant to be. He seems grateful and we feel the love coming from him. We are so happy to have him. He used to sleep on the floor, I am sure that was all he knew (even though we bought him a nice dog bed ;-), but in the last few days he discovered the couch, lol and just this morning for the first time he put his head on my husband’s lap on his own while he was sitting next to him. I am so thankful to the healing energy of Reiki and the endless possibilities that come with it. There is nothing that Reiki can’t touch or affect in the most positive way. I am grateful.

I love to practice distant Reiki! With distant Reiki I can easily send the Universal Life Energy to anybody at any place no matter where they are in the world. Does it really work? Absolutely Yes! One of my current distant Reiki clients is a family member who lives overseas. Due to an injury, her left shoulder was almost completely immobile. She could hardly move it up and down, maybe just a few inches from her body. Needless to say, this situation was debilitating for her for a long time. After just one session of me sending her the Reiki Energy she was able to lift her arm up into a 90 degree angle again! She was beyond excited and of course I will continue to send her the Reiki energy on a regular basis for steady support and her ongoing improvement for her overall health.

I only had one session so far, but I was already able to sleep much better the night following the session, and the experience as a whole allowed me to feel more calm.
