Congratulations to all 3 of our teams as they completed a 3-game sweep of Chillicothe at home on Friday night. The C-Team started the evening with a 53-15 win. The JV was able to pull out a 47-41 OT victory. The Varsity also went to overtime and was able to come away with a 55-45 win over the Hornets. Kason Mauzey led a balanced Cardinal scoring attack with 20 points. Allan Coy and Denver Domann each tallied 11 points and Adrian Byrd chipped in 9 points. The Hall of Fame Sho...otout has been postponed for tomorrow based on the impending weather. We are hopeful the Shootout will be made up later this month. More details will follow once a date has been set. Good luck to our C-Team and JV as they host Lafayette on Monday in a double-header. The C-Team game begins at 5:00 PM, followed by the JV game at 6:15 PM. Good luck to our Girls and Boys Varsity teams as they travel to Lafayette on Tuesday for a double-header. Congratulations to our Varsity and JV for their double-header sweep on the road at Cameron tonight. The JV started the evening with 63-33 win and the Varsity capped off the night with a 69-49 victory over the Dragons. Kason Mauzey paced a balanced Cardinal scoring attack with 22 points. Our Varsity dropped a pair of games in the Cameron Tournament over the last 2 days. On Friday they fell to Smithville, 55-45. Kason Mauzey led the way with 20 points & Allan Coy added 10 points. Today, dropped a 63-56 decision to Battle (Columbia). Kason Mauzey finished with 18 points, while Carson Newlon chipped in 12 points & Allan Coy contributed 11 points. Good luck to our JV and Varsity teams on Tuesday (2/1/21) as they travel to Cameron for their 2nd MEC contests. JV game begins at 5:00 PM, followed by the Varsity game at 6:30 PM. Congratulations to our Varsity for their 62-44 victory over Lawson in the 1st round of the Cameron Tournament on Thursday night. Allan Coy took game-high honors with 24 points, while Kason Mauzey added 12 points Carson Newlon chipped in 8 points. Special congratulations to Kason Mauzey as he set an All-Time Missouri High School Boys Basketball record for Field Goal Percentage (minimum 15 attempts) in a single game during our contest at St. Pius last Thursday (1/7/21). Kason finished the game by going a perfect 15/15 = 100% from the field, as he went 14/14 from 2-point range and 1/1 = 100% from 3-point range. We are extremely proud of Kason and his teammates for this outstanding accomplishment! GO CARDINALS! #CARDSTRONG

Congratulations to our Varsity for their tough 62-58 MEC road victory tonight at St. Pius. Kason Mauzey had a career high 35 points for the Cardinals, while Allan Coy chipped in 9 points and Denver Domann added 7 points. Our JV and C-Team came up on the short end of 2 highly contested games against the Warriors. The JV fell 63-58, while the C-Team dropped a 60-55 decision. Next week is tournament week at Benton High School as we host the 3rd Annual Cardinal Classic (see attac...hed bracket). Congratulations to our Boys Basketball C-Team and Junior Varsity for their double-header sweep over Penney High School (Hamilton) at home on Monday night. The C-Team started the evening with a 46-13 victory and the JV followed up with a 61-19 win.
