Belton Historical Society 15.12.2020

Thanks to Pam Powell and Ron Branan for the program about The First Avon Lady. Thanks to Karen Calvert and Evelyn Tabor for the delicious donuts and cider refreshments. Thank you, Rob Powell for your service as President for 5 years and Congratulations to Jackie Kreisel upon her election to serve as President. We really missed our older members who stayed away due to COVID and impending weather.

Belton Historical Society 09.12.2020

The Belton Historical Society will meet this Sunday, the 26th, at 2:30 pm. The group meets at The Old City Hall, 511 Main Street. The business meeting includes election of the Board of Directors and Officers. Pam Powell will present a program about the story of the first Avon Lady. Masks are required, seating will be spaced for social distancing. The public is welcome.

Information regarding the funeral of LIFE member Margo (Tabor) Beal. Margo suffered a stroke and passed away on Saturday. Sending condolences to her siblings, children and grandchildren.

Our program for this afternoon with be about Belton School Memories. ( Our scheduled speaker had to cancel due to illness). We will recognize Belton's current school graduates as we honor our scholarship winners. MASKS REQUIRED. We have arranged chairs 6 feet apart. Come if you are comfortable. No hard feeling if you stay away, we understand. 2:30 PM, in the MST side of the building.
