The last of the candy arrangements are headed out the door this morning! Thank you so much Dustin at the Rustic Garden for always being such a great supporter of our program!

They got them done! Thank you to everyone that ordered from us. My classes did an amazing job with these candy bouquets this year. They made 50 arrangements today alone and delivered hundreds of Valentines. They can all add works well under pressure to their resumes.

Belle FFA Chapter 04.01.2021

If you ordered a Valentine from us, my students are working their tails off this morning to get them finished. We were on target to finish early, and 3 snow days really put a wrench in things. We started the day with 50 left to make and have already made a dent in that. We will try our very best to deliver them all today, however, there is a chance some will need to be delivered on our next day at school. I will update at the end of the day. Thanks for the support!

Belle FFA Chapter 20.12.2020

It’s been an exciting week in Ag Science 2. Students have been doing demonstration speeches where they have to spend at least 5 minutes teaching their classmates how to do something. They were able to pick their topic and were encouraged to pick something they were passionate about. I didn’t get pictures of them all, but so far the demonstrations have been so cool. This has been a fun way to practice our public speaking skills. Maycie Weller wants to be an EMT, so she demons...trated a walkboard, which is a tool first responders use to get people in distress out of tight spaces to get them to safety. Trinity Medlock participates in barrel racing and she rides bulls! She taught us how to tie a bull rope and showed us a video of one of her rides. It was SO neat. Rachel Baretich walked us through 10 workouts you can do at home without any equipment. We all got our heart rates up during her demo and learned some unique exercises. Anna Gallagher brought in her cattle dog, Sis, and walked us through animal care and obidence training for working dogs. Sis was very excited to see the class. Bryce Heidbreder gave us a lesson on the importance of budgeting and gave the class easy ways teens can keep a budget. He also tied his lesson to our agricultural record books we do in class and how the app he shared with us could help. Mason Thomas taught us how to tag and ear notch calves. She shared experiences she has had on her family farm and reasons why they use these common cattle practices. The best part about all these presentations is you could tell they all picked a topic that they enjoyed. That shower through in their presentations. I can’t wait to see what the next two days of speeches being.
