Throwing it back this Thursday to earlier in the year when Belger’s 100-ton Link-Belt rough terrain crane was used to hoist and set eight power poles in Lee's Summit, MO. The heaviest pole weighed 30,000 pounds. Congrats to Belger-Kansas City East crane operator David Powell, Jr. on accomplishing another safe hoist. Many thanks to our customer for calling on Belger over the years. Last week, the Belger-Lenexa crew installed "Spirit Totems" by artist Doug Coffin at Johnson County Community College. Each of the five totems weighs about 6,000 pounds and stands 30 feet tall. They were fabricated in Wichita and transported by Belger-Wichita to Belger-Lenexa. Congratulations to all involved: from the artist, his team and the fabricators, to Johnson County Community College and Belger's Wichita-Lenexa crew (superintendent Jason Minden, Wichita heavy haule...r Mike Esslinger, Lenexa crane operator Mark Thompson, driver Brian Harness, and oiler Triston Sampson). It's "Memory Lane Monday!" This 1940s photo shows a 20-ton Lorain conventional truck crane lowering office equipment from a building in downtown Kansas City, MO. Today the building houses the Ambassador Hotel Kansas City (@ambassadorkcmo). Although buildings change hands over the years, our commitment to our customers remains strong. For projects requiring crane, heavy haul, machinery installation and deinstallation, warehousing services, and 100+ years of expertise and experience, "Better call Belger." A cold soft drink sure sounds good on a hot summer day. We especially appreciate an Oklahoma City soft drink company that's been a long-time customer, too. They recently contacted Belger-Oklahoma City Division Manager Kirk Henderson about moving a high-pressure CO2 tank. A 14,000-liter tank, measuring 40 feet in height, was hoisted and placed upright, using Belger's 275-ton Link-Belt HTC-3275 and 70-ton Link-Belt HTC-8670 hydraulic truck cranes. Once the tank stood upright..., the larger capacity crane took on most of the weight, which allowed for the tank to be safely set in place. Congratulations to Belger-Oklahoma City crane operator Jason Kennedy (in photo), oiler Travis Mansor and riggers Mike Montana, Junior Martin, and Terry Neis, for the safe and efficient completion of this project. Although this was a one-day project, the relationship with our customer has been long-term, and we're grateful for their business over the years. #BetterCallBelger #CenturyofHeavyLifting #heavyequipment #turnkeysolutions #linkbeltcranes #cranelife See more

Take a look at our 200-Ton Link-Belt truck crane and two of our 100-Ton Link-Belt Rough Terrain Cranes in Kansas. A Belger Crew from our Wichita Division has been busy unloading wind turbine components arriving by truck and train. Great job, fellas!
#TBT is also Red Thursday in #ChiefsKingdom. Back in the mid-2000s, Belger helped out the #Chiefs with some heavy lifting their O-Line couldn't handle. Our 200 Ton Link-Belt Truck Crane set these massive signs so visiting teams would know who they were about to lose to all the way from I-70.
This week's #TBT is a 1961 Bucyrus Erie HydroCrane on a Ford Chassis! This rig was very busy around Tulsa with it's 5 Ton capacity and quick mobilization and setup. #quickstrike Can you imagine, we are now just as fast and efficient with our Mobile Cranes with capacities over 100 Tons!
Hoisting in the Midwest looks much different now than it did in the 1940's. #TBT But one thing remains the same, Belger Cartage Service Inc is doing it! Take a look at these gems. Any guesses on the lifting capacities from these post-war workhorses? #bettercallbelger
The 2016 Belger Cartage Service, Inc., Kansas City Safety Banquet kicked off at 5 pm sharp with the arrival of Jim and Lois Harmon. Jim retired as a mechanic in 2000 and says he enjoys retirement but he misses his buddies at Belger and likes to come to the banquets. Welcome Back Jim and Lois! - Belger Cartage
Belger Employees! If you're coming to the Kansas City Safety Banquet this weekend, it's in the headquarters building, the one Abraham Lincoln is pointing at!
