How about some fun this Friday night? At 6:00 PM Bare Knuckle Fighting Champion, Sam Shewmaker, will be here to sign autographs, take pictures and tap the first pint of our new beer, The Hillbilly Hammer. It is a Hazy IPA that delivers a big ‘ol hop punch to the nose. It is also Friday Night Pints where 25% of pint sales go to Missouri Special Olympics as part of J.T. Gerlts upcoming Polar Plunge. We also have a few new menu items for you to checkout, Gumbo Pizza is making a comeback and we will be rolling out our new Happy Hour Menu this week.

Good grief, it’s cold and the snow keeps coming. We are going to be open today for lunch and part of the afternoon, but for everyone’s safety we are going to close at 5:00 today (Monday). But, warmer days are just around the corner and we have a huge announcement coming tomorrow, so stay tuned and you might want to keep your calendar open for this Friday night, the 19th.

We have a few remaining positions for kitchen staff. Not only do we offer a fun work environment and competitive pay, we are now offering a SIGN-ON Bonus. Don’t delay so come in and apply in person today.

We have some exciting updates that we have been working on so it’s time to let the can out of the bag. Building renovations are complete and we are ready for our on-site canning line! In a couple of weeks we will be offering canned beer to go on some of our most popular styles and increasing the number of locations where it is offered around the area. We are expanding on our Shop Local belief and 10-42 Bar&Que from Gravois Mills will be supplying us with their amazing pu...lled pork. This will be served up in our Brewhouse Nachos as well as our Memphis Sandwich. We are also refreshing our menu and will be offering additional options, which includes expanding on our Happy Hour items. A new beer is in the works. It is a juicy, New England IPA that delivers quite a hop punch to the nose, so it seems only fitting to call it the Hillbilly Hammer! The locals know that this is also the name of the bare knuckle fighting champion, Sam Shewmaker, so we are honored to be working with him on this. All of this is in the works so stay tuned for notifications when they will be available. Life is Brewtiful at BK!

JT Gerlt, our friend and Legend of the Country Sale at KS95.1 FM-The Lake of the Ozarks Country Station is raising funds for his 25th Polar Plunge to support Missouri Special Olympics. We have just what you need to get into the Holiday Spirits. Christmas Around Versailles is this Saturday from Noon-5 and we have an all star lineup at Bee’s Knees. Local Breweries Welpman Springs Brewing and Lake of the Ozarks Brewing Co.along with Phantom V Distilling Company will be providing samples and selling merchandise in the tap room. We will be tapping our Mistletoe Mash, serving samples and have new merchandise available, including a custom blend of coffee from Ozark Coffee Company.
