Forecast is calling for snow and very cold weather. Colder weather than we have experienced in years. The waterlines will freeze if you don’t leave water running. A small stream will prevent it from freezing. A couple dollars more a month on the water bill will prevent having to replace waterlines and possibly paying a plumber. The office will be closed Monday Feb. 15 for Presidents’ Day and we will not open if roads are not safe to travel. Be safe stay in unless it is absolutely necessary! Check on your friends and neighbors.

We are expecting cold weather, be sure to leave the faucets running a small stream to prevent waterlines from freezing. The weather forecast is calling for ice tonight and tomorrow. If we get the ice the office will be closed. Stay in out of the weather and stay safe.

The weather is nice now but we never know what tomorrow holds. I can’t help but remember the Ice Storm In the event of a power outage we have generators and will get them online ASAP. We are not expecting to run out of water as we are more prepared. Doesn’t hurt to have drinking water on hand just in case. We have great people in our community that always pitch in and help. We had a leak on County Road 213. It is closed down to one lane until Monday morning halfway between County Road 212 and 214. Spread the word Please.

Bills are going out tomorrow! Those of you that sent email addresses should have your bill in your inbox. The others are going out in the morning. If you don’t have your water bill by Sept 7, 2020 call the office.

Our mail is going to Indianapolis for some reason. I am sure that is why it is taking 3 to 4 weeks to get to our customers. We are sorry for all the problems with your bills not getting to you. Please call the office for your amount due. If you have an email account we can send them through email call and give us the email address.

Those of you that haven’t gotten a water bill call the office at 573-328-4548 and get the amount due. Sorry for the inconvenience unfortunately we can not control the Post Office.

Dont know what is going on with our postal service but I have sent bills to these addresses for years and now they are undeliverable. Contact the post office headquarters and complain. ... I would like to introduce Brandon Decker. Brandon is now working with me at the water district. If you see him running around in the white Dodge or Gray Ranger say hi and introduce yourself. He lives in the area but doesn’t know a lot of our customers. We are flushing lines this week. And will be reading meters next week.

Again this month people are not getting their bills. We apologize for the inconvenience. Email billing is now available. If you want to have your bill emailed call the office at 573-328-4548 and give us your email address the bill will be mailed and emailed.

PUBLIC NOTICE: The monthly water sample was taken but failed to get to the lab for February therefore causing a violation. The March samples were fine so the water is at no risk.
