Grab your tickets to the 2021 Bar K Beer Tour and embark on a unique beer journey, sampling 15 select beers from local and national breweries, with your pup along for the ride! All participants will receive a Bar K Beer Tour Passport and 16 oz. souvenir mug courtesy of Lagunitas Brewing Co and Central States Beverage Co. The tour kicks off on February 1, and participants who successfully complete the tour by February 28 will receive an exclusive Bar K Beer Tour t-shirt. Did you know that the KC area has more animal health companies than any other region in the world? We have an amazing pet industry community here in Kansas City. To celebrate this, we invite everyone who works in the Pet Industry in any capacity -- groomers, dog walkers, trainers, vet techs, etc. -- to Bar K on the first Wed. of every month for Pet Industry Night. From 4:00 - 8:00, pet professionals can mingle with their peers, their dogs get free entry, and we offer drink and appetizer specials.

Coretta Scott King As part of our Bar K Barks Back initiative, this quarter we are partnering with Habitat for Humanity of Kansas City and are inviting the Bar K community to join our team for a volunteer week at ReStore! We have reserved 40 time slots throughout the week of November 10-16 to volunteer at the Deramus ReStore location - 4701 Deramus Ave, Kansas City, MO ...64120. This is a perfect opportunity to grab a couple friends and pick the same time slot! Please click on the Bar K Barks Back Volunteer Registration Form below and choose a time to register. So why volunteer at ReStore? Each item at Habitat for Humanity's ReStore has been donated by people in the community who believe in making a positive impact. When these donations are sold, the proceeds go directly toward helping local families in desperate need of a hand up. To ensure the maximum amount of these donations go to those in need, Habitat for Humanity depends on people like you to volunteer at each ReStore location. What will you be doing? Volunteers will help with sorting donations, taking inventory, assisting customers and arranging merchandise. What requirements will there be? Volunteers will be required to fill out a short volunteer application and waiver. This will be emailed to you within 24 hours of submitting this registration form. Brunch and Rescue! This Sunday, October 25th, grab some friends and join Great Plains SPCA to watch the Best In Show Brunch & Virtual Dog Show Finals!
