B&D Skating Rink is devastated by damage that has occurred in our neighboring town of Oak Grove. We will be collecting donations for the families who were affected by the tornado tonight, at our 7-9 session. If you bring in the any of the following items, you will skate for only $1.50!!! Donation Request: water blankets... shampoo conditioner deodorant toothpaste toothbrushes soap toilet paper paper towels Come help our community and have a great time!

B&D Lore 11 It’s like the phoenix is rising from the rubble, not ashes, and fighting back against what Mother Nature dealt that dark and stormy night of June 26. The B&D South Skate Center is hosting a benefit grand re-opening for the City of Independence.... Admission will be $5 including skate rental from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 19. But, bring a new, unwrapped toy to be donated to the Salvation Army for a child this Christmas, and get in for only $2, including skate rental. Everyone wins! The goal is to provide the Salvation Army with 500 toys for the good girls and boys. Look for the ever popular 50s nights featuring 50-cent Sunday admissions and skate rentals.
