Last Thursday, former CPD Officer Janet Rodriguez Judd was installed as the 2021 President of Missouri Realtors. In 1984, Janet became the 1st female officer to... serve with the CPD, paving the way for others. During her time with the department Janet met her husband Rick, also a former CPD Officer. To honor her leadership with Missouri Realtors & her place in CPD history, Chief Smith attended her inauguration event & presented Janet with a replica antique Clayton police baton & a plaque. Janet’s department serial number (201) & an image of the CPD badge are etched into the baton. We wish Janet the best in her position of President of Missouri Realtors & thank her for being a pioneer in the policing profession. #WeAreClaytonMO

As the COVID supply chain slow down continues, we are experimenting with a charred table top. It will take multiple coats of epoxy and sanding in between but this top will look pretty cool when it’s complete. This COVID related supply chain slow down is affecting every business especially the smaller ones. So as time goes on, please be patient, we are all in this together.

We are taking advantage of the down time in the shop to build new work benches with DeWalt parts organizers built in. We do this as we wait on critical supplies that are delayed by the Covid Pandemic.
