We welcome our patients to use our TeleHealth Services. Telehealth is primarily for sick visits, but we can also do visits for med checks, anxiety and depression. Children's Mercy Children's Mercy will provide free lunch for kids in the community Monday through Friday. Grab-n-Go SAck Lunches available for children ages 1-18 years at the following locations and times:... 11:30 am - 1 pm at Children's Mercy Broadway Clinics (3101 Broadway) 11:00 am - 2 pm at Children's Mercy Don Chisholm Building (610 E. 22nd St) Sack lunch includes: Turkey sandwich, carrots, apple and Milk *Allergen-free option available with gluten-free bread and soy milk

Baby and Child Associates will remain open during this National crisis of COVID 19. We have instituted some changes in our clinic in response to COVID 19 to help us continue to treat both well and sick children. We are asking that only well children be seen during the morning hours of 9 AM 2:30This will allow parents to feel comfortable bringing their children in for their well child examinations and immunizations. We will be seeing sick patients daily from 3PM 4:30...PM. Please call for an appointment time. Our office will be starting telemedicine as soon as possible to allow us to treat your child for simple conditions like allergies, pink eye, strept throat, etc over the phone or computer. Vaccination Policy: We firmly believe in the effectiveness of vaccines to prevent serious illness and to save lives. We firmly believe in the safety of our vaccines.... We firmly believe that all children and young adults should receive all of the recommended vaccines according to the schedule published by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the American Academy of Pediatrics. We firmly believe that when you don’t vaccinate, you take a significant risk with your child’s health and the health of others around them. Because we are committed to protecting the health of your children through vaccination, we require all of our patients to be vaccinated. Please be advised that delaying or breaking up the vaccines to give one or two at a time over two or more visits goes against expert recommendations. This can put your child at risk for serious illness and goes against our medical advice as providers at Baby and Child Associates. We, the providers of Baby and Child Associates, acknowledge and honor your rights as parents/guardians to make any and all healthcare decisions for your child. We will not force you to vaccinate your child against your wishes. After you have been provided with the information about the recommended vaccines for your child, if you choose to refuse vaccination we will require that you provide our office with an exemption waiver from the Health Department in the state of your residence. If you cannot comply with this policy, we respectfully ask that you find a healthcare provider more apt to meet your preferences. We do not have a list of providers who allow alternative immunization schedules or immunization refusals. Further, we do not recommend any provider who does so. We look forward to providing the best care possible to your family.
