Excel Physical Therapy

Feeling dizzy? That can be caused by BPPV, commonly know as vertigo, and typically feels like the room is spinning. Did you know that PT can help with that? We use a technique called the Epley Maneuver. It involves a series of movements to realign the crystals in your ears. Once those crystals are back where they belong, you’ll be symptom free and can return to your daily activities!

Appreciation post for our dear friend and former clinic manager, Lauren! Many of our current patients know, but Lauren’s last day at Excel PT was Thursday 12/31. She is off in the pursuit of her dreams to teach! If you know her, there’s a good chance you adore her. She’s sweet, extremely talented and has a wonderful sense of humor. We will miss her witty remarks, kind smile, snowflake making and artistic skills and really, just everything about her! Good luck, Lauren. May you succeed in everything you do!

Interesting research article out of The New England Journal of Medicine. They conducted a research study comparing the effects of a glucocorticoid injection VS. physical therapy ... the results showed that those who received PT services had LESS pain and disability at 1 year than those who received a glucocorticoid shot! Consider asking your doc for some physical therapy for that knee pain!
