11-4-20 We are announcing the death of another Lawrence County resident. A person in their 70's, not associated with long term health care. We send our sincere ...condolences to the family and friends of this individual. We added 39 new cases today. Many of our cases are not sure where they contracted the virus which means it is likely due to community spread. We want to remind everyone that if you are out in public shopping, etc. it is important to not only wear a mask but to practice good hand hygiene! Keeping hand sanitizer in the car to use when you get in to leave your stop can help. In Kentucky, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell cinched re-election, despite facing a fierce and well-funded challenge from Democrat Amy McGrath.

The latest numbers courtesy of USA Today: Biden picked up wins in Virginia and Vermont earlier before going on to win Rhode Island, New Jersey, Massachusetts, Maryland, Illinois, Delaware and Connecticut. Meanwhile, Kentucky, West Virginia, Indiana, and South Carolina have been called for Trump. He also took Oklahoma, Tennessee, Mississippi and Alabama after polls closed.... That gives Biden 85 electoral college votes and Trump 55. The candidates are in a tight race in Florida, where 29 electoral votes are up for grab.
