Good Morning. Tried to post last night, but was not able to. We are going to have the 10:45 Worship service only this morning. Looking forward to fellowship with all who are able to attend. We will also live at 11:15 on Facebook.

Amen and Amen!!! I've always tried to understand Love. I'm just now starting to understand it, in the Word. 1 Corinthians Chapter 13. Explains it Best. The Greatest Gift.

AURORA BIBLE CHURCH CELEBRATES A SPECIAL CHURCH ANNIVERSARY On Sunday, October 25th, Aurora Bible Church, located at 550 N. Hwy 39, Aurora, MO, will have a special church anniversary celebration. The church was formed on October 31st in 1977 and it will be the 43rd year as a church body. It will be a time to celebrate with a mortgage burning. With the blessings of God and faithful members, the church body has paid off the mortgage on the building and property. Not only paid ...it off, but paid it off three years early. There will be a normal worship service at 10:45 AM that Sunday with special music guest Bob and Alta Courtney (Redneck Revival). Then at 2:00 PM there will be a celebration with music from Bob and Alta Courtney and Sanctified Gospel Music from Marionville. There will be time of sharing testimony, praise, food, and a burning of the mortgage. Pastor Rick Abney and the church body are inviting those that have been a part of the Aurora Bible Church family building, serving, or supporting us over the years. Maybe you have served as a pastor, teacher, music ministry, missionary or have special memories of Aurora Bible Church. Anyone who wishes to come celebrate with us is welcome.

As I have watched and listened these past days or weeks to reactions to what the Corona virus is doing in this country and the world, I have heard responses by government officials, media, and others. I hear voices of fear and uncertainty. As a believer and a pastor, I have prayed seeking God and what his purpose. I know all things are for our good and God's glory. I see and hear fear. God does not call believers to live in fear and timidity, but by faith. God brought to my t...houghts an older hymn titled "In Times Like These". In Times like these you need a Savior. In times like these you need anchor. Be very sure, be very sure. Your anchor holds and grips the solid rock, This Rock is Jesus, yes He's the One. This Rock is Jesus, the only One. Believers should be gathering together, on their knees seeking God and His will and purpose during this time. Starting tonight, Aurora Bible Church will be open every night at 6:00 PM for those that want to come and pray, have time in the scriptures before God. If anyone reading this post is welcome. Times like these we need to pray. The fervent prayers of believers avails much. Services on Sunday will remain the same. In the love of Christ Pastor Rick

Sunday is resurrection day. A day which all believers celebrate our risen Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. This Sunday Aurora Bible Church will have a sunrise service at 6:30 on the deck on the east side of the building. At 9:00 we will have breakfast together. The menu will include eggs or favorite breakfast casserole, biscuits, muffins, fruit, sausage, milk, juice. We ask that each attendee bring something listed above to share. Service will be at 10:45. There will be no ev...ening Bible study. Spend time with you families. Everyone is welcome to celebrate with us. Looking forward to seeing everyone tomorrow. Good evening everyone. After monitoring winter weather advisory for sometime today, it has been decided to cancel church services for tomorrow. Stay home, stay safe, and stay warm. Have family together. Will be looking forward to seeing everyone next week as we continue our series in Galatians.

There will be services this morning. No precipitation at this time and temp is 32. Would live to see everyone there to worship together. Use your own judgement as for as attending this morning.
