A HUGE Thank You!! to Aaron Baker, A-Z Appliance and Johnny Contratto for donating and delivering this beautiful refrigerator to our Department!! We can now provide cold water and Gatorade to our volunteers. We appreciate your support!

With the Summer heat on the horizon, we are looking for a working refrigerator to keep our supply of bottled water and Gatorade cold. Our old unit zonked out! If you have a working unit that you would like to donate or sell cheap, please let us know. Thank you!

The AVFD responded to a brush fire today off of Hwy J and O. We had 2 trucks and 5 personnel and had the scene under control within 45 minutes. Thanks to our wonderful volunteers who truly care about our community! Also, we would like to thank Elmer VFD for your assistance.
