We are currently seeking an energetic and highly motivated individual to join our Janitorial Cleaning division. The ideal candidate for this position is detail-oriented, flexible, and willing to take on non-routine cleaning and special projects as the need arises. The cleaner will be responsible for cleaning and sanitizing offices, meeting rooms, bathrooms, living spaces, and public areas. This position has potential to be Full-Time, with the right candidate. This shift would be 10:00pm - 6:00am Part-Time hours are flexible (3 - 4 hours per shift) between 10:00pm and 6:00am ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Empty trash cans, ash trays, and other waste receptacles Using proper cleaning solutions(s) and cleaning cloths or dusters, dust, damp wipe. Spot clean all horizontal and vertical surfaces such as; desks, table tops, chairs, filing cabinets, book shelves, telephone instruments, computer equipment, walls, light switches, partitions, doors and mirrors. Using vacuum cleaner and/or floor dusting/mopping equipment Clean restroom: Pre-spray disinfectants and bathroom cleaners; re-supply soap, tissue, towels and feminine hygiene dispensers; clean vents, dust walls, doors and partitions; remove trash; clean and wipe dry fixtures, mirrors, and dispensers; spot wash walls, doors, and partitions; sweep and/or wet mop floors. Make note of any mechanical and/or electrical malfunctions, i.e. door locks, dead plugs, switches, and report to supervisor. Perform other duties as assigned from time to time by lead. As a Janitorial Supervisor with Atkins, Inc. you will lead, train, and observe our general cleaners, making sure the scope of service for each building, office, warehouse, and all other locations, is completed. Responsibilities Provide professional and prompt customer service to our clients Manage work orders, periodic work, and extra work jobs Perform quality control inspections Train, develop, and motivate team members Manage equipment and repairs Manages chemical and supply inventory Manage team member performance and document any corrective action Follow all company policies and procedures Perform other duties as assigned by Operations Manager Clean Driving Record Pass highway patrol background check Requirements Personal: Integrity, work ethic, customer focus, organization, verbal communications, written communications, problem solving, planning Physical; Able to lift, carry push and pull up to 50 lbs., able to kneel, crawl, and squat periodically, able to stand and walk for extended periods, able to reach above head and shoulders continuously, able to climb stairs and ladders Technical; Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook Experience/Education; High School diploma, minimum of two years supervisory or management experience in service industry. Associate’s degree preferred, but not required. Job Type: Full-time Pay rate based on experience
