Independence Center COVID-19 Update! Join us on May 15th; come with a mask for your protection! MALL INFORMATION FOLLOWS: We have been working to put into place plans and procedures for reopening with safety of our tenants and customers as our top priority. ... Our Housekeeping staff is prepared and has a plan in place which includes disinfecting and cleaning high touch point areas (i.e. food court, bathrooms, escalators and handrails) on an hourly basis. We will be asking all customers and employees to wear face masks while they are at Independence Center. Arrows will be placed on the ground guiding traffic in one direction in an effort to keep a 6 ft. distance for all customers. Reduced Hours - for the remainder of May, Independence Center will be open Mon.-Sat. 11 11 am-7 pm and Sun. Noon-6 pm. We will be asking mall walkers to complete their walks by 11 am Mon.-Sat. and noon on Sun. to keep capacity levels available for shoppers. Additional hand sanitizer stations have been purchased and will be placed around the center. Informational signage reminding customers to adhere to safety guidelines prescribed by the CDC will be throughout the mall. Floor markers indicating 6 ft. of distance for customers in line will be provided for the food court and any other store that may need them. if you feel your store will have lines to get in due to capacity restrictions and would like floor spacers, please email a request to [email protected]. Our play area will be closed until further notice.
