For October and November we will be hosting an online and In-Person Creative Mask Competition! With the extension of the mask ordinance through January 2021, we want to encourage the community to wear their masks, be part of the creative community, and express themselves! From October 7th through November 6th, take time to make a fun face covering that expresses yourself! Post a selfie of your creation online with @artwalksgf tagged and use #ffawmaskerade . Or email the imag...e to [email protected] . From November 10th-17th, there will be online voting on Facebook for Springfield's Favorite Mask with a prize for the top 'liked' mask! HOW TO PARTICIPATE: From October 7th through November 6th First Friday Art Walk, create or embellish a face covering and tag @artwalksgf on Instagram with the hashtag #ffawmaskerade . If you would like to participate via email send mask selfies to [email protected] with the your name and contact info! We will keep track of 'tagged' mask selfies and have a vote for Springfields favorite mask on this event page from November 10th-17th, so be sure to have friends and family 'like' a mask! !
