Did you know that Johnson County Community College (JCCC) recently added an additional 600 kilowatts of solar to their Overland Park, Kansas campus? They’ve added 400 kw to their Industrial Training Center (center) and 225 kw to their Campus Services Building (right). These previously empty rooftops are now put to work generating electricity, and the college uses the arrays’ real-time and historical data from online monitoring in their solar and electrical training programs.
