ART House Food Share

If you love cherries, today is the day to come to Foodshare. Bags and bags of cherries. It is cherrypalloza!!! Come BEFORE 11:30 because we start on time and it goes quick!!!

We got another large load of lettuce, swiss chard and kale fresh picked this morning!!

I love our foodshare community! Moonflower Love aka Colleen Costello aka Kathleen Murray's little sister, works on a community urban farm in Illinois. A farmer there had to make the difficult decison to let go of her plot after doing the hardwork of planting. Instead of letting the lettuce and green harvest go to waste, Colleen thought of our foodshare, harvested it and brought it to us for foodshare tomorrow! So tomorrow at 11:30 (we start right on time so get here early!) in addition to foodshare we will have kale, bitter mixed greens, rainbow chard and lettuce!

We are so excited to have folks from the Neighborhoods Funders Group National Convening join us today for lunch. Folks should come by around 1 p.m. for some Mama Cat Cooking and to meet our guests.

That moment when one of our elders brings cooked green beans and corn bread made from ingredients from Sunday foodshare and you feel the community love.
