Masks are off and Harry and Hermione are returning to the North Pole! They had a great time wreaking havoc and bringing fun at Arch Pediatrics . They are hopeful that next Christmas they will not be wearing masks or having to socially distance at all. Merry Christmas to all our wonderful families ! This last year has been challenging to say the least . We are proud of our Arch family for all that we have done to pivot to accommodate this challenging time . We appreciate the trust our families place in us more than we can adequately express . We look forward to the hope of a new year and are optimistic that we will all be able to see our smiles again .(without a mask )

Harry is spending too much time on screens during virtual school and gaming . Hermione is doing a great job getting outside and exercising while walking her pets. Hermione is reporting improved sleep , concentration , and mood with her regular exercise routines. Be like Hermione !

Toddler eating can be a huge challenge. Many toddlers don't like to eat meat. This is likely textural. However, there are lots of options for iron in non meat foods. The following is a good list. Wonderful series of books for all kids but particularly great for kids with anxiety. My boys started reading and enjoying these in early elementary and even still picked them up as old as 5th grade .

Harry and Hermione love their favorite food groups : candy, candy cane, candy corn. and syrup. Clearly they consume a good amount of sugar. We now offer fluoride treatments for all kids age 9 months and up. The fluoride is simple to apply and helps protect their elf teeth . Your child can also receive a fluoride treatment during their well visit at Arch Pediatrics. (As long as they have at least 4 teeth )

This is why exposures to Covid need to stay quarantined for 14 days despite a negative test. Symptoms can develop at any time in the 14 days post exposure .

Harry and Hermione are getting their checkups today . They want to remind everyone of the importance of routine well care Please remember if your child Is due for his/her yearly well visit, please call and get on the schedule now. If you skipped this past summer due to the pandemic , now is the time to schedule . We have schedules open through March .

These elves are so mischievous! Our entire building is out thanks to their meddling . Santa is going to be super angry . (Not to make light of a serious situation as it is a huge deal to close down an entire medical building but we had to have a little fun with this )
