The hardest step is always getting started. Today is hopefully the first step towards a goal I have had for a few years now. With a mild winter and a bit of focus this maybe something cool in the spring.

We will be offering a free strength and core conditioning class this afternoon at about 3:30 pm. Gloves are recommended.

Fun little novice roll top

Some interesting new jumps coming along. Front one is a height of 3’2 skinny and the back one will be about 3’5. Thank you Shawn for doing your HB land conservation project here. This year we added 3 new training jumps, 3 new prelim jumps, and a novice and starter fence to the park.

Pair of hay feeders approximately 2'7". Perfect for a Novice combination.

This afternoon I had some help from some dedicated students to finish up what we started last weekend. Thank you Jutta Lipsky, Kristen Bernard and Annie Altorfer for all your help. The fences look great.

Not sure what is going on but chief Kodak has his gang at attention. It’s been that way for several hours, can’t wait to get home to figure out what is so engaging.

Beth's cousin (Ian) made a quick arieal sequence of the farm. Would love to do this when things are green and the XC course is set and mowed.

Well the new farm dog is creative at getting attention. I guess if you don’t know the rules it hard to break them.

Calling all HB Candidates - the Midwest Region's request to hold an HB Test March 9-11, 2018 has been approved. There is a very short window of time to get your applications in - they are due by December 15, 2018. This testing will be hosted at Appleshed Equestrian Center.
