November is National Family Caregivers Month November is the month where we take time to recognize and give praise and support to the 78 million people who dedicate their time, often unpaid, caring for a family member in need. This is the time to celebrate the devotion and love that caregivers show to their loved ones. Click the link for additional resources: https://www.apdaparkinson.org/resources-sup/for-caregivers/

APDA Greater St. Louis Chapter 11.10.2020

Join us for the APDA Virtual Optimism Walk on Saturday, October 17, 2020! Walkers from APDA Optimism Walks in Greater St. Louis, Long Island, Connecticut, and Iowa (as well as walkers from all over the country!) will come together virtually for an inspiring Optimism Walk Opening Ceremony & Celebration after which we’ll all walk safely and separately in our own neighborhoods, but together in solidarity for the PD community. No matter where you are joining us from, the APDA Vir...tual Optimism Walk is an important opportunity for all of us who are affected by PD to show support, share stories, get a little exercise, and feel inspired and motivated. Our online Optimism Walk Opening Ceremony & Celebration will take place via Zoom, so please register here in order to get the link you’ll need on the event day. Since we cannot physically walk side by side, participants will be encouraged to share photos and comments using #OptimismWalk, so we can all still be uplifted and united by a great sense of community and camaraderie. Show us where you’re walking! Show us your fun t-shirts and signs! APDA VIRTUAL OPTIMISM WALK CEREMONY & CELEBRATION Saturday, October 17, 2020 11:00am ET/ 10:00am CT Each and every virtual participant will help make a difference for those living with the disease today and to push for answers that will ultimately make PD a thing of the past. ************************ Have questions?
