At Anointed Touch Therapeutic Massage LLC, our priority is, and has always been, the health and safety of our clients and therapists alike. In response to the recent Covid-19 outbreak, Anointed Touch Therapeutic Massage therapists, as well as associates, wish to convey, we work in close contact with many that have compromised immunity, and those that are consider...ed high risk for contracting Covid-19. For this reason, offices and waiting areas are closed until further notice, however, appointments shall commence as of May 4th 2020, per Greene County and at the discretion of individual therapist, alike. While we realize everyone has been waiting, we must consider the need of our most at risk clients, first. Each business located inside of Anointed Touch Therapeutic Massage LLC, is owned and operated by individual therapists, all in which maintain the right to refuse service. All clients will be prescreened and services will be rendered based on each therapist’s and client’s own discretion, via phone prior to appointments. Any current client wishing to book an appointment may do so by office phone, cell phone, text, email or social media messenger. If you have had an appointment that has been effected by our recent closure, or have reached out, you will be contacted, there is no need to call. At Anointed Touch Therapeutic Massage, we follow strict cleaning and disinfection protocol, exceeding the standard of state requirements, within our entire office daily. Each treatment room is deeply and thoroughly cleaned between each client with high quality board approved disinfectants. We will take a financial hit that will be hard to recover from. We finally were starting to bounce back from typically slow winter months. Though there is a need for concern, this is not a time to panic, the massage industry will make a c...ome back. But, do your part now - and SHUT IT DOWN PLEASE!!! I have heard numerous stories of too many cases of therapists passing virus with no symptoms to WEEKS OF CLIENTS. Do you want to be the one to make all those calls? Do you need the money bad enough to sleep well knowing you were part of the spread? Maybe a death? Clients are not being truthful either, therapists have admitted to going to work sick because they have bills to pay. We have little to no guidance - so far to my knowledge, none from the Missouri State Board of Therapeutic Massage, which is rather disappointing. However, I urge to help slow the infection listen to your professional association for guidance and check on each other. No, some, are not ok. If you have over stock in supplies due to bulk purchases often done ordered, share with those in need. We need each other’s help more than ever right now.
