I am still in denial that my friend is gone. I keep thinking its not real, it’s a bad dream. I look out my window and expecting to see his van drive by. Yest...erday was Wednesday and I didn’t get a call asking if I needed any food that he picked up from the food pantry. He did this every single week, even when he could barely walk; driving around the neighborhood making sure everyone had food. He fought for his country and continued to fight for the ones he loved. He let complete strangers into his home; he would pick them up off the street and bring them to church. I always told him to be careful; but he was never concerned about himself only helping others and trying his best to bring them closer to God. He spent countless hours and nights at AngelEyes making sure we were able to help the young moms that came to our home. He made sure there was always food for the girls and he was grandpa to every little angel brought into this world. My granddaughter said to me last night; Granny don’t be sad just remember that Rev. Dean is having a good time in Heaven with God. So, I will say the same to all of his family and friends. Rev. Dean is having a good time in heaven with God and the ones he love that were waiting for him with open arms. I miss my friend. There will be no other like him.

All of us at AngelEyes are incredibly grateful to have been blessed with the love Dean Masters shared with us all. He will forever be in our hearts. Please keep his family in your prayers.

Occasionally, River of Refuge will get applicants who may be pregnant or young single mothers who don't always meet our minimum criteria. We are so thankful tha...t places like AngelEyes can step in to help where we cannot. Not only do they offer support to pregnant women through their maternity shelter but they offer pregnancy and parenting classes as well as offering a Career Development Program to both pregnant women and single mothers. What a way to reach women who are in need! Thank you for all that you do, AngelEyes!
