Several homes and businesses in the community now have pumpkins, gourds and mums for sale. The biggest selection of pumpkins can be found at Borntrager's Produce on Hwy Y. Several green houses in the area have mums for sale.

All Amish businesses in our community will be closed on Friday, April 10th for the religious observation of Good Friday. Businesses will reopen on Saturday, April 11th, then close again on Monday, April 13th for Easter Monday. As always, no Sunday sales.

South Side Sales receives a new shipment of peaches weekly, typically Tuesday evenings. The peaches are ready for purchase each Wednesday morning by 7:30 a.m. South Side Sales is located at 866 Audrain County Road 110, Clark. From Hwy 22, north on Hwy Y to first gravel road left, Road 110 just before the RR tracks.

Garden fresh strawberries are now available at several Amish houses. Those that are selling have signs posted at their mailboxes. The Petersheim's Rug and Quilt Shop on Audrain Road 155, just west of Hwy 151 and south of Road 132, has several pints available.

The Amish Community began in 1953 when the first Amish family moved to the area. The community has since expanded to over 60 families. The families operate su...ccessful home shops selling seasonal produce, eggs, baked goods, crafts, quilts, furniture and more. There is also a store selling surplus and damaged goods at pennies on the dollar. Drive the area and witness the simple hard working lives of the Amish as they adhere to their strong beliefs in self-sufficiency and charity.
